Project Details

The Kmart Distribution Center Project was a replacement of an existing system with a new Honeywell Lontalk control system, which included the controls and graphics for 54 Roof Top Units. These units are setup in such a fashion that the building can be run in zones, which allows energy savings by shutting down zones that are not currently occupied by workers. The control system also has a fall and winter program which runs the minimum amount of Roof Top Units needed to maintain comfort throughout the plant resulting in an overall 35% reduction of energy cost.
